Love it but like others said it is a very light scent so HT or CT may be lacking.
Haven’t used this in a product yet, but looking forward to using in wax, car diffusers, and simmering salts. Initially, out of the bottle the scent seemed to be lighter than I would have expected, but when I revisited - it was just right and is a gorgeous inviting scent. Excited to experiment with this one.
Smells delicious . I made a room spray and smells like a hotel . It’s a little milder than an essential oil but wonderful .

The quality of oil is great. I made a perfume and a linen spray with no problems. The fragrance is a very close dupe of Santal 33. It’s definitely a woodsy bomb, but floral notes that make it a little more feminine are dialed down a bit and the paper note is a little more pronounced.
Had a customer ask for this high end fragrance. I was highly disappointed as it smelled like pickles. Literally lost so much product as I had to trash everything. I make freshies and used different ratios 4:1, 6:1, and 8:1 ratios all smelled like straight dill pickles. Horrible and for the price point was not worth it. I've smelled santal 33 and it smells nothing like this.
I am reviewing solely on the OOB as I haven’t had the opportunity to use it in a candle yet. The scent is practically identical to the perfume. Light, airy, and fresh. Very inviting and intoxicating. Hopefully it performs well in candles. I recommend.
The scent itself is spot on for Santal 33, but it is weak. Im using it in a waterless diffuser so it should be super strong, but its about equal to the other brand Im using in a water diffuser. When I used it in the water diffuser even up to 10 drops it had almost no scent. This is strictly a waterless diffuser use for me. I dont make soap or anything else so I couldnt tell you how it performs in those.

Hi Leanna, thanks for your review! The maximum fragrance load for candles is usually determined by the wax you are using. Most wax can successfully hold anywhere from 8-12%. If you're using one of our waxes, the fragrance loads are listed on the product pages. I hope this helps!

I've have ordered from Northwood candle co quite a few times and everytime I've received my order I've been extremely impressed. Not to mention they always add a sample wax melt! They also add pens and stick note pads and its a nice extra something to receive :) I would also say that their fragrance oil is incredible compared to many other candle companies I have ordered from!
