To prevent wicks from coming loose the the sustainer after pouring, we highly suggest using the Bow Tie Wick Bars or Wick Stabilizer Bars to hold them in place.

HPSP wicks designed for coconut wax candles deliver excellent hot throw and steady burns. Customers praised the "slow, steady burn" and "amazing HT." However, several reported wicks pulling out of sustainer tabs during use and thick wax coating. The sizing chart needs adjustment—shoppers recommend going 2-3 sizes up from recommendations for optimal performance.
I was really excited to try this company for the first time and these wicks given that they are paraffin coated, but I was really disappointed in the quality especially after waiting so long for my shipment. The first thing I noticed was that the wicks were thickly coated in wax which was different than what I’ve seen before in other wicks and this same series from a different company that is vegetable coated. Additionally, all of the wicks I received were not securely crimped into the sustainer tabs so every time I went to wick my jar, the wick would come right out of the wick tab. Kind of a bummer.

I gave up on wooden wicks because I could not get it to work with coco apricot creme wax. Boss vision suggested the HPSP wicks, and I purchased the sample pack. I finally found one that works based on the wick guide and my own testing. I use the 12 oz Aura and the #54 worked well, steady flame and complete melt pool in 3 hrs. Also, HT was good. I now need to find the right size for my CS Libby 9oz and 8oz Aura's. It would be great if other reviewers can be specific about what wax, wick and vessels they are using successfully. It really helps new candlemakers like me.
I'm still testing wicks but so far I am liking my chances with these HPSP wicks in my Coco83 and Ceda Serica waxes. Northwood is so nice to work with! Really enjoy the little extras that come with purchase!

After reading the reviews and seeing the noted advice to go up 2-3 sizes, I decided to start there and it has caused me more time, effort and money. I would suggest getting the sample pack and starting with the size appropriate for your jar's diameter then going from there. I'm using Cocoapricot wax and so far I'm finding that I have to wick down from the recommended diameter size. Of course testing is key and any other additives will pay a part. Overall, I really like these wicks in comparison to others I've tried - little to no soot and mushrooming and they do not curl as much.
Tested and tested for my coco apricot creme wax… Finally found a wick that didn’t over flame or soot. 50 hr burn in 9 oz straight sided jars. 36 HPSP burned like a dream.

These wicks are great for coconut wax candles. We struggled finding the perfect wick until we found these. We first purchased the sample pack which was perfect for testing and finding the right size. I noticed that some people think the sample pack is a bit pricey, but I believe it's worth the price in the long run. I also love the gifts that are included in the orders!
Amazing wicks for my coconut wax candles. I tested multiple sizes till I found the perfect size. Steady flame, Amazing HT CT, slow burning. I did find that I have to use more than 1 wick depending on the diameter of the candle. I will definitely continue to purchase these wicks.

I've ordered 5 different sets of wicks from this company and I've had my wicks come out of the tabs so many times it's ridiculous. I've reached out about this problem numerous times and have yet to hear anything back. At first it was just my hpsp 45 then my hpsp 36. Not only are my wicks being wasted but also my time, vessels (have to stop and clean the remains of the wick tab out of my vessels ) and also my money. This is ridiculous I will be looking else where for better wicks to accommodate.
