How do I know which wax to choose?

Each type of wax has unique properties that make it ideal for different candle projects. Most of our waxes are designed for container candles. One exception is our NW515 wax, specially formulated for wax tarts, pillars, and votive candles. For detailed information about each wax, check the product page descriptions.

What type of wicks work with your wax?

Is your wax skin safe? Can I use it for massage purposes?

Due to additional regulations for body-safe products, our waxes are intended for candle making only. The exception is Beeswax, which is safe to use in skincare products such as lip balms and lotions.

Is paraffin wax safe to use for candles?

Yes! Our paraffin wax is highly-refined, food-grade wax, making it safe for candle use. For more details, please read our Paraffin Wax article about using paraffin in candles.

Do you have a list of wax ingredients or wax certificates?

All of our waxes are vegan except for beeswax, and none are tested on animals. Our wax is manufactured in the U.S. by small, custom wax blenders. Because wax blends are proprietary, we do not provide detailed ingredient percentages. However, our suppliers confirm that all ingredients—including palm oil—are responsibly and sustainably sourced.
