Local Pick-Up FAQs

We offer a convenient local pick-up option for customers who want to save on shipping and pick up their orders directly from our warehouse in Belle Plaine, MN. Below you’ll find everything you need to know before choosing this option at checkout.

How do I use the local pick-up option?

At checkout, select Pick Up as your delivery method instead of choosing a shipping option.

Where do I pick up my order?

Our warehouse is located at 201 N Meridian St, Belle Plaine, MN 56011. Please park by the entrance on E Church Street.

How long does it take for my order to be ready?

Most orders are ready within 2–4 business days. Please wait for your email notification confirming your order is ready before arriving.

What are the pick-up hours?

Monday–Thursday: 8:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Friday: 8:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
Closed on weekends and federal holidays. We cannot accommodate early or late pick-ups. Hours may change due to inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances.

Can I come into the warehouse?

No, our warehouse is not open to the public. We do not have a retail or customer reception area. Please remain in your vehicle, and we will bring your order out to you.

How do I let you know I’m here?

Use the doorbell at the entrance, and a team member will bring your order out promptly.

Is there a fee for local pick-up?

No. Local pick-up is free, and you will not be charged shipping when selecting this option.

Do you offer a discount for picking up?

No. Prices are the same regardless of delivery method. You can still use coupon codes and reward points at checkout.

Can any customer choose local pick-up?

Yes, but you must be able to physically pick up your order in Belle Plaine, MN. This option is not intended to bypass shipping fees for non-local customers.

What if I chose Pick Up by mistake?

Email customercare@northwoodcandle.com. We will invoice you for shipping, which must be paid before your order ships.

Can I pick up part of my order and have the rest shipped?

No. Orders must either be shipped in full or picked up in full. If you need both, place separate orders.

Can I pick up my order somewhere else?

No. All pick-ups are from our Belle Plaine, MN warehouse only.

Can someone else pick up my order for me?

Yes, but they must show your order confirmation email upon arrival. Without it, we cannot release the order.

Can I get Rush Processing with local pick-up?

Yes. Rush orders placed before 10 a.m. CST on business days are usually ready the same afternoon. Orders placed after 10 a.m. will be ready the next business day. Always wait for the “Ready for Pick-Up” email before arriving.

How long do I have to pick up my order?

We will hold your order for 14 days after it’s ready. Unclaimed orders may be canceled, with a $10 + 5% restocking fee applied.
